Sewage Processing Plant Jeddah

Static Design of shafts for a pressure rising plant as part of the municipal sewage water treatment.

In the desert, near the saudi arabian city of Jeddah a sewage treatment facility is built. The channels which bring the water to the sewage treatment facility are located around 70m under the ground and are working because of the natural slope.
The wastewater makes its way to the ground because of four pressure rising plants. These plants are installed 80m under the ground with a diameter of 40m.
For the construction of those chambers slurry walls were used.
